Courageous NecroCon was an attempt to find a niche by combining two distinct and unlikely fannish groups. It offered 24 hour programming, during the day it catered to the Trekkers and SciFi fans and night the Vampires (goths) took over. Unfortunately the main instigator of the convention, Terry Wyatt, was unfamiliar with the realities of first time cons in the Northwest and vastly over estimated the likely attendance numbers.
