Tup Tim Thai 118 W Mercer St, Seattle, WA (206) 281-8833 | I like Thai food and my favorite Thai restaurant is the TupTim Thai, in lower Queen Anne. This is by far the best Thai restaurant in Seattle and Ihave tried many of them. I particularly love going on Thursdays for lunch, they have thecracked rice chicken soup which is my favorite. |
ChantaneeFamily Thai Restaurant 150 105th Ave NE Bellevue, WA (425) 455 3226 julie@chantanee.com | The Chantanee Family Thai Restaurant in Bellevue. Bellevue finally has a decent Thai restaurant. Run by a former Tup Tim Thai waitress it still brings its own unique touch to the tradional dishes. |
Panos Greek Taverna Kleftikos 815 5th North Seattle, WA (206) 301-0393 | For out of this world Greek food you really MUST try PanosGreek Taverna Kleftikos just 2 blocks north of the Seattle Center. This place is truly mondo. If you go, do not expect fast service, do not expect to get 'in and out' quickly, they serve the food with and old world patience and friendliness guaranteed to drive you buggy if you are not ready to spend a evening with good food. In the end, I must tell you, the wait is worth it. We had the first ever meeting of the friends of the Don Buddha Dinner Club there. It was wonderful and many participants would like a repeat performance. |
Flowers Bar & Restaurant 4247 University Way NE Seattle, WA (206) 633-1903 | I would like to mention Flowers at43rd and University in the U-District. Middle eastern style, great food, reasonable prices, it meets all my basic criteria for a fine restaurant. Their Eggplant dishes are fabulous and their vegetarian lunch buffet is heavenly. |
Cafe Zum Zum 823 3rd Ave Seattle, WA (206) 622-7391 | For lunch I love to eat at the Cafe Zum Zum, Pakistani and East Indian cuisine. |
Choy's Chinese Cuisine 601 Queen Anne Ave N Seattle, WA (206) 283-1598 | At the foot of Queen Anne I recommend Choy's Chinese Cuisine, while not theabsolute best they do serve large portions for a reasonable price in a friendlyatmosphere. |
Chutneys Indian Restaurant 519 1st Avenue N Seattle, WA (206) 284-6799 | Also check out the lunch buffet at Chutneys on First North in lower Queen Anne. |
Chang's Mongolian Grill 1827 Broadway Seattle, WA (206) 325-6160 | If you really feel you MUST just pig out, there is one place to go... Chang's Mongolian Grill on Capitol Hill. |
Pegasus Coffee & Pastry Bar 711 3rd Avenue #314 Seattle, WA | As an avowed coffee gulper, I have to say that Pegasus Coffee & Pastry Bar is probablyyour best source of fresh coffee, whole bean or ground. They are the oldest coffee roaster with a retail outlet in the Seattle area. Friendly people, intent on GREAT customer service, coffee roasted to perfection, I recommend you check it out. |
