Sometimes you just can't get to your email program, but you can get to a web browser. Many of the free web based email providers now allow 'pop 3' access. Allowing you to pick up your email anytime you have access to the browser. In addition, you can leave that email on the server and pick up from your preferred location later.
| Web2Mail | Works pretty well, had the major advantage of being able to be used through Microsofts firewall effectively. Has recently been 'upgraded' and I have not tested the new 'enhanced' version. |
| iWon | Prizes, news AND email what more could you want? Seems to be a front end for mail.com. |
| mail.com | Add driven. Seems to be a bit slow retrieving email from pop accounts. |
| Hotmail | Ok, it is owned by Microsoft but really, can it be ALL bad? Definitely a SPAM magnet. |
| Sluggy.net freemail | Free email by the fine folks at Sluggy.Net (see the humor list). They be good people. |
