Games EmpireWhen I was but a wee lad, first learning the intricacies of computers, I found my way to the evergreen state college where, hosted upon the mighty HP 2000, was a wonderful time wasting game called CIVIL. After moving moving away to college, wistful memories of those days of game play followed me. I found later that it had been ported to HP Pascal, renamed empire, now running HP 3000's. I played briefly in the late 80's or early 90's. Recently I have found a site running this older version of EMPIRE, newer versions are, I believe, all gooey and client server.
